SC refuses to ban IPL on spot fixing
The Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to stop all remaining matches of IPL in view of the spot-fixing scandal.
The apex court directed the one-man inquiry committee appointed by BCCI to submit its report within 15 days on the spot-fixing scandal.
The SC asked the BCCI to take action against accused cricketers. “The problem is lackadaisical approach of the BCCI and it must stop,” the SC said.
Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals also lodged a complaint with Delhi Police against its three players – Chandila, Sreesanth and Ankit Chavan for cheating and fraud.
