Sachin Hands over baton for MI to Bhajji
Sachin Tendulkar has stepped down from the captaincy of Mumbai Indians for 2012. Harbhajan Singh, who in past has also captained MI has been handed over the responsibility, infact he led the Mumbai Indians to Champions League title last year(2011), so he surely was automatic choice. Sachin cited the reason as to be a break from “leadership duties”.
Even though bhajji’s form as a bowler has been patchy, but as a captain he seemed to be at this best. After the Champions Leagure Title, he led the India Green Team in Challenger Trophy, and then he led Punjab Twenty20 to the final of Syed Mustaq Ali Trophy.
Go on bhajji !! we miss you in Indian XI, make a strong comeback.
