Mumbai Indians begins Practicing

Mumbai Indians recently began their preparations for the 2012 season of IPL5 on their home ground, Wankhede Stadium.

Mumbai Indians, having a memorable season last year, finishing at the No. 3 spot in IPL 2011 and winning CLT20 2011, began their training sessions under coach Robin Singh and bowling coach Maninder Singh.

Amongst those practicing were RP Singh, Ambati Rayudu, Dhawal Kulkarni, Tirumalasetti Suman, and Sushant Marathe. The players sweat it out in the Mumbai heat for about three hours, primarily batting and bowling.

Apart from the iconic Tendulkar, the high profile team also boasts crowd-pullers like Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga, Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh and South African sensation Richard Levi.
