Brendon McCullum & Virender Sehwag to miss IPL6 opener

Smasher Virender Sehwag & New Zealand skipper Brendon McCullum will be unavailable for the Delhi Daredevlis & Kolkata Knight Riders respectively in the Indian Premier League 6 opener at Eden Gardens on 3rd Apr 2013.

The dashing wicketkeeper-batsman is nursing a hamstring injury while Sehwag is having trouble in his back.

McCullum holds the record for the highest score (158) in the IPL. McCullum has 1233 runs in 47 IPL games at an average of 28. Apart from the Knight Riders, he also represented Kochi Tuskers Kerala in 2011.

Delhi Daredevils will also miss out on last season’s Purple cap holder Morne Morkel, who also
bowled Titans to a semis place in the Ram Slam T20 Challenge in the South Africa domestic cricket.
