32 banks offer to to manage IPL Deccan Chargers

After BCCI terminated the Deccan Chargers team from IPL on contempt of breaching the contract, 32 banks that have given debt to the Deccan Chargers team joined hands and offered to manage Hyderabad DC in the 6th edition of IPL.

These banks have reportedly form a SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) and sent their proposal to BCCI.

The proposal seemed to have been rejected and BCCI was not keen at all on handing over the charge of the financially to the banks. Reacting to the banks’ proposal, a BCCI official reportedly said that there was no guarantee that the proposal would work smoothly, especially as the Deccan Chronicle Holdings Limited (DCHL), have defaulted on payments several times.

Still no clue about the future of the team but it is definitely truth that either Deccan or another team from another city will play in the 6th IPL.

This matter is sub-judicial  now and will be decided by the Honorable courts.
